Toilet occupied light is fitted in all the AC Coaches. It indicates the availability of the toilet to the Passenger.
The red and green indication resembles the indication of availability of the berth/seat. It works on DC 110V DC supply.
While the toilet door is latched from inside it activates the limit switch gives 110 V DC supply to that particular LED.
